Great crowd vibe and food, though the quality could be better for the price. The bar staff’s vibe could’ve also been a little warmer and friendlier but I’m just nitpicking here. My unhappy take is getting charged a 20% large party auto-gratuity for a two person table that includes self serve water and self serve cutlery. Didn’t order anything crazy or fancy drinks. This was supposedly charged due to going on their trivia night but it was not my first time so it was a bit jarring; zero signage or a verbal agreement. I should’ve checked before paying so part of this is on me but some heads up would have been REALLY nice.

The staff and bartenders are just super friendly and helpful at this comfortable neighborhood bar. I only wish they had service at their tables, as right now you order from the bar. However, they do bring the food to your table, including the outdoor patio. I also appreciate theie very dog friendly, almost dog-focused, vibe and atmosphere. Thanks, Story Tavern!

I visited this place for the first time with my husband on Thursday and absolutely loved it 😍 It's worth noting that they have live music (guitar and other instruments) on Thursday evenings 🎶 The atmosphere takes you to a real tavern, like in ancient times. We ordered the Story Burger from the menu and it was delicious! 🍔 We highly recommend it! I'm also thrilled that you can play board games here, so we'll definitely be back with friends.

I love this place. It's got a great vibe and the patrons are always pretty cool. The bartender is super rad and makes sure you are taken care of and have everything you need, all with a smile! The place is always fresh and clean They offer free popcorn, several house drink specials, and some decent food to keep you going. They have about 6 dartboards, a shuffleboard table, a foosball table, and two ping-pong tables to keep you entertained, not to mention great music and several TVs playing all types of sports. The outdoor patio is really nice at night. They also have a second room with a bar and a full dining room with tables. Thank you for always taking care of us!!! I definitely will be returning! First time coming here. The game side was super crowded when we went over the weekend. The restaurant/bar side was almost empty when we arrived. They’re located on the north side of San Fernando right next to Gyu Kaku. The food itself was excellent but a little overpriced in my opinion. The drinks and beers we ordered were also very tasty and enjoyable. Unfortunately no dedicated parking and Burbank recently started charging for street parking.
